Looking for Alaska. Ah yes. This book broke my heart into a million pieces and jumped on it repeatedly. This book is also by John Green. This is about Miles who memorizes famous last words of people and he is looking for The Great Perhaps. When he goes to college he meets Chip and Alaska who turned his life upside down. I have only recently read this book. Really recently, I finished it this morning. Anyways, this, like any other John Green books, does not focus around romance only. The characters in the story reflects most of teenagers today and how they let their self go. This book is depressing as f*** but its worth it. I don't know if that makes me emo but that's the only way to describe it. You can also learn a lot from it because the characters are smart and they often talk about things like history or they have a class about religion. You should really read this book because trust me, you would not expect the things that will happen.

"And in this moment I swear, we are infinite"
Old and new version of The Perks of Being a Wallflower |
I have the old version of the book and it really reflects some of the teenagers today. I'm going to pretend I didn't cry. I cried. I swear and books rarely makes me cry. This book is funny and sweet and romantic but most of all it's something people can relate to. Charlie is awesome. Patrick is funny. Sam is just amazing. They're friends and they have this chemistry that you can't just ignore. Charlie is smart and he wants to be a writer. His sister has a boyfriend who ***** her up. I'm sorry. I don't wanna give those who haven't read it yet spoiler. As you see above on the picture, this book already has a film adaptation and it's freaking amazing and the cast are perfect. Sam is played by Emma Watson. Patrick is played by Ezra Miller. And Charlie is played by Logan Lerman. All actors and actresses gave the characters justice but if you want to watch the movie, I suggest you read the books first or there might be some confusion. In conclusion, the book and movie are perfect. That is all.

I Fear Oblivion
Hello people! First blog post! Woohoo!
Anyways, I am a bookworm if you can't tell by the title of my blog but I never really got into books which the main story line is about romance and the likes. My friend which goes by the name Arianne bought a book and when she finished it, she told me that I would really appreciate it, even though I don't like romance much, because the story does not evolve around love only and that the book is very well written and logical. If you had read this book then you will know why the title of this blogpost is "I fear oblivion". This is the line that Augustus Waters said when asked what he fears the most. There are a lot of "quotes" or "lines" from the book but this one is the one I can seem to remember the most. Not because I have a brain problem or something but I can relate to Augustus when he said that. I know that deep inside I've always wanted to be different. For instance, whenever we're going somewhere I always wear something that none of my other companions are wearing. I want to stand out. I've never really realized that I fear oblivion until recently when I bought John Green's book "The Fault In Our Stars", read it and then when it came to that part I stopped reading, went back to that part and goes "Woah! I never really think of it like that but I can actually relate to that". I have finished the book and it's awesome.
This book is about a sixteen year old cancer patient, Hazel Grace who met the enigmatic Augustus Waters at a cancer support group. They became attracted to each other and......... their journey begins. I' m really sorry that I can't tell you guys more about this because I may be sued for copyright but trust me I really do want to. Anyways, I really suggest that you read the book because it's really great and inspirational. Do not be fooled though because even though some character/s have cancer it's actually not all sad but the opposite! The Fault in Our Stars is being adapted into a movie starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort and the official release date in America will be on the 6th of June, 2014.
John Green, the author had also written Paper Towns, Abundance of Katherines and Looking for Alaska. He had also done collaborations on Let it Snow and Will Grayson, Will Grayson.
John also has a Youtube channel called VlogBrothers which he shares with his brother, Hank.
